Skate 4 the Cause

This is your chance to get involved!!!!!  SEPTEMBER 30, 2011- OCTOBER 2, 2011.  Do you think that you are too young to really make a difference?…..WELL THINK AGAIN!!  I am 12 years old and the founder of Tori Turner’s D.R.E.A.M. BIG Foundation.  It was my vision, but of course I had help from my parents putting it all together.  In 2011 alone, I volunteered in the children’s ministry at my church, I feed the homeless with Home Mission in New Orleans every other Saturday, I was a volunteer staff member with the Mark Ingram Foundation; not to mention for my foundation.  I, with the help of family, friends, and other volunteers was able to raise enough money to issue $1750 in scholarships, make a donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation, and help finance my D.R.E.A.M.S. (which is where it all started) As a contestant in the 2012 Miss Black Louisiana Pageant, I am “Calling Teens To Action!!!”  Let’s go out and make a difference together!!  I hope I see you at my “Teen’s Making A Difference, Weekend of Service!”  I’m on the move…….and I want you all to come with me!!!  <3 Tori
