ABOUT ME

Hi,  I’m Victoria “Tori” Turner!  You can also call me T.T.  I am the daughter of Noble & Kim Evans and Jimmie R. Turner, Jr. and I have one little sister, Alexia Turner.   I was born in New Orleans, LA on September 30, 1998. I have always been taught to THINK and D.R.E.A.M. BIG and now I am ready to take the world by storm.  I have been on stage since I was two years old performing in dance recitals, piano recitals,  as  a gymnast,  in pageants, & in the church choir.

I am a 8th grader at Dutchtown Middle School where I am an honor student, an academic assistant, member of the Junior Beta Club.

I am a member of Spirit of Truth World Ministries in Baton Rouge, LA under the leadership of Pastor Frank Washington and 1st Lady Trena Washington.

I am the founder of Tori Turner’s D.R.E.A.M. Foundation, an actress with New Venture Theatre in Baton Rouge, LA and an active member of Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s –Emerging Young Leaders.  I am also a youth advocate for the Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation through the Kids for Wish Kids Program.

I founded the Tori Turner’s D.R.E.A.M. BIG Foundation at the tender age of 12 years old with a mission of financially supporting the dreams of youth around the state of Louisiana. My foundation was birthed through my dream of becoming a professional actress, model and entertainer and understanding how hard it can be to financially support accomplishing your goals.

My future plans include attending Performing Arts High School, attend college majoring in the performing arts and business administration and go on to become an academy award winning actress and a grammy winning musician.

In my spare time, I love to serve my community throughmy foundation, my other service affiliations and volunteerism with programs such as Home Mission, Inc. where I participate in the “Feed the Hungry” mission and Mark Ingram’s Foundation; geared toward assisting children of incarcerated parents.

Not only am I very active socially and civically, but also in sports.  I have competed in competitive cheerleading and was on my school’s volleyball team for three years.

I currently hold the title of 2012 Miss Black Louisiana USA Talented Teen and will be competing for the National Title in August 2012.  During my reign I will be “Calling Teens to Action” through, community service and youth entrepreneurship, inspiring them to be the change that they want to see in their communities.  You are never too young to make a difference!  Iwill also record and release my first pop-rock singles during my reign, along with developing my own record label with an emphasis on young aspiring talents like myself.

My message to others is to always D.R.E.A.M. BIG and believe in God and yourself and you can do whatever you set your mind to.

“The journey of one thousand miles begins with one single step” and will continue to take positive steps toward my destiny!!!

Watchout for me, because I am on the move…………………..
